Kyle + Katie | Airlie Gardens Wedding

Katie + Kyle said their "I Do's" on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the beautiful Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC. Their ceremony took place at the iconic pergola, which sits right off the lake surrounded by luscious florals, ivy, and oak tress filled with Spanish moss. This location is tucked away in its own little nook of the gardens that gave the ceremony the perfect coziness that Katie + Kyle desired. The setting for their ceremony had enchanted garden written all over it. It was breath taking! The florals were provided by Beautiful Flowers by June, which completed the enchanted garden theme.

After the ceremony the guests walked the historic paths through Airlie Gardens to the cocktail hour and reception location. The festivities took place under a large tent right in front of the legendary 400+ year old oak tree that sits right in the middle of the gardens. During cocktail hour guests were able to enjoy an array of cocktails while mingling and playing yard games. Once the reception began, the party really kicked off. There were beautiful family dances that brought tears to the eyes of all the guests, amazing speeches, awesome food, and LOTS of dancing! Due to a beautiful summer day, the guests were able to gaze at the stars that lit up the sky as the night progressed!

Professional DJ Services kept the guests entertained throughout the night without skipping a beat! Middle of the Island provided delicious food and an amazing staff, while High Performance Lighting set the tone with classic Edison bulbs strung over the yard games, elegant chandeliers hanging in the tent, and soft white uplighting around the site. You know we can't forget about dessert. Imaginary Cakes provided an adorable variety of cupcakes for the guests and a one tier cake top for Katie and Kyle to cut and save. The night came to a close with a grand send off of glow sticks while "Marry You" by Bruno Mars played in the background. Katie + Kyle hopped into their classic getaway car provided by Cape Fear Transportation and waved good-bye to all their guests as they exited the gardens.

The best part of the day for us was the adorable love that Kyle + Katie share. Their love is honest, young, and contagious. We were so blessed to be a part of their journey and to have the opportunity to not only meet these two amazing people, but their awesome families as well.
