Aaron + Amber | Beach Wedding

Beach weddings always feel like you're at a destination wedding, even when you're a local, and that's the best! There's nothing like the backdrop of the beautiful ocean and the sound of the crashing waves. Aaron + Amber chose to have a destination wedding in Surf City, NC on September 4, 2016, and it was the perfect day for it! The sun was shining, there was a perfect breeze, and not a cloud in the sky.

After the ceremony the wedding guests made their way to the beach house for cocktail hour while Amber and Aaron took pictures on the beach with their wedding party and family. Everyone enjoyed dinner surrounding the beach house pool while the sun set in the background. Once dinner wrapped up, the fun began! We flipped the space into a stunning lounge area. Martha My Dear Rentals provided lounge pieces that helped us create an elegant yet relaxed look, and Illuminating Events completed the space by adding classic Edison lights strung from each corner of the backyard.

As the night continued, all eyes were on their adorable cake, made by Imaginary Cakes. The customized silhouette cake topper of Aaron, Amber, and their sweet pup made the cake complete. The guests were also surprised with one of Amber's favorite treats for a late night snack... S'mores!!
